The Village Clerk-Treasurer’s office is the gateway to open and accessible government serving the citizens of Mukwonago through a variety of services.

We administer Elections and voter registration for the Village of Mukwonago for both Walworth and Waukesha County resident.  The Village currently has one polling place at the Village Hall Building 440 River Crest Ct., Mukwonago. Additionally, the Clerk provides the Oath of office for Elected and Appointed Officials.

LICENSES

The Village Clerk-Treasurer's office processes applications and issues licenses for a variety of items.  Licenses include Dog Licensing, Alcohol Licensing, Amusement Device Licenses, Operator (Bartender) Licenses, Tobacco Licenses, Pool Table, Dance Hall, Weights & Measures, and Massage Establishment Licenses. Check out our license applications menu to see what applications are available.

TAX COLLECTIONS

The Clerk Treasurer's office collect tax payments for all Real and Personal Property Taxes for Residents in both Walworth and Waukesha County. 

The Village also imposes a Room Tax and the Clerk-Treasurer's office collects monthly room taxes.

The Clerk-Treasurer's Office responds to public records requests.  Please contact the Clerk's office to submit any requests for documents.

AGENDAS & MINUTES

The Clerk-Treasurer's office prepares agendas for public meetings of the Village Board and other Village bodies, and attends the meetings to record minutes of the actions taken by the Village Board, and ensures that meetings are conducted in accordance Wisconsin open public meetings law.  Click Here for our Upcoming Meetings and Agendas page.  Meetings are Live Stream as they are happening, and can be accessed from the Agendas and Minutes page by a link.  Live Stream videos are archived with each respective meeting with a link for replay.

The Village Board of Trustees meet the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30PM at the Village Hall, 440 River Crest Ct..  The Committee of the Whole meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30PM.

The Village Clerk acts as a liaison between the community and its elected officials, and is responsible for maintaining for permanent record contracts and documents resulting from Board action. The Village Clerk publishes ordinances and updates the Code book.
